Talk about being meant to be!!  He is from the Finger Lakes area and while most of her family is from Colorado, she grew up in Idaho.  She was earning a Phd (to be a Radiochemist) at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and working as a teacher's assistant.  He was earning his degree in nuclear and mechanical engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.  One summer he decided to take a "nuclear" summer class at UNLV and guess who was helping teach the class?  The universe divinely pulled these two from across the United States to meet this one summer, and they went on to prove that long distance relationships can blossom and grow.  They had six months together over the last year to live together and to know that life just wouldn't work without the other in it.  So he popped the question the night before they were to go on a week-long backpacking trip on the John Muir Trail (which is a long distance trail in the Sierra Nevada mountain range in California).  They love spending time in the great outdoors!  He now lives in Florida and she in New Mexico, working their jobs and working toward the day they can blend their lives into one... one love, one place, one new journey as husband and wife.  It does not take very long with these two to see how much they love each other and how comfortable they are in each other's arms.  Perfect...

We had such a great time with these two.  We look forward to their wedding next year at the Glen Iris in Letchworth State Park.
